Job Title: Learning and Development Coordinator

Location: Peterborough

Salary: 30-35K DOE. 

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Learning and Development Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for rewriting training manuals and delivering training sessions to new employees. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create engaging and effective training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rewrite and update training manuals to ensure they are current, comprehensive, and engaging.
  • Deliver training sessions to new employees, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop appropriate training programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees during their onboarding process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a learning and development role, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Competent in writing material 
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in rewriting training materials.
  • Certification in Learning and Development or related field.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools.
