Are you passionate about working in finance? Or maybe you have some experience in credit control and would like to develop these skills further?We are currently recruiting for a rapidly growing and progressive company, based in Peterborough, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their small team of 4. This is a position that has arisen due to another period of growth!

You will be working from home, with a visit into the office once or twice a month. In addition to the basic salary, you can achieve a 20% bonus which is paid quarterly if objectives are met!Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage Aged Debt in accordance with defined collection strategy
  • Taking a proactive role in collection of outstanding invoices by telephone and email
  • Escalate late payers to Team Leader
  • Negotiate payment plans
  • Perform customer reconciliations
  • Manage Prestop & Stop accounts
  • Investigate and arrange customer refunds
  • Manage queries to ensure resolution within agreed timescale

You will be assigned around 20 accounts to manage, with full training and support provided depending on your level of current knowledge. You must be able to work within a team and interact well with others, both internally and externally.
