We have an amazing new opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to work for an exceptional organisation based in PeterboroughAs the successful Credit Controller you will be working withi a dedicated and friendly finance team tasked with ensuring all invoices are paid on time whilst maintaining positive relations with clients.You will:
- Manage the credit control function within the company, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to secure payments and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Review and analyze overdue accounts, establish payment arrangements, and escalate unresolved cases as needed.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and resolve billing issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
- Prepare reports on the credit status of customers and present findings to management.
- Previous experience in credit control
- Solid understanding of credit control procedures and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment.
- Familiarity with debt collection regulations and practices.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in analyzing financial data and generating reports.
- The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £27,000 annually.
