Our client is now looking for a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time, office-based basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a stable, growing business that values quality, collaboration, and long-term success.

About the RoleAs a Credit Controller, you will manage credit control duties for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely payments, resolving queries, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Use accounting software to run aged debt reports and manage debt chasing activities.
Proactively contact client's customers to confirm payment timelines and resolve any issues.
Collaborate with client's sales teams to address queries and ensure smooth payment processes.
Escalate unresolved issues in line with agreed policies and liaise with debt collection agencies or legal teams as needed.
Provide regular reporting on debtor performance to clients.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: At least 2 years in a similar credit control role.
Skills: Fast, accurate data entry with strong attention to detail.
Adaptability: Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with people at all levels.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Word and Excel. Experience with accounting software such as Sage or Netsuite is a plus.
Bonus: Experience in broader finance roles or familiarity with sales order processing systems.

Location:This is a full-time, office-based role located in a North Peterborough and easily accessible location.
