Do you enjoy getting involved in the wider aspects of design (eg communicating with manufacturing, site, attending design meetings)?

We are working with a company with a wide presence in housing developments who have a growing team in Peterborough, now seeking to increase their team of Timber Frame Designers.

Do you have:

  • Excellent understanding of technical drawings and construction design
  • 5 year or more designing timber frame.
  • Good Revit skills and/or specialist design software experience (eg hsbCAD, Mitek, Wolf, Consultec etc)
  • Confidence in picking up new softwares.

As a Timber Frame Designer, you will be:

  • Working on several projects running concurrently
  • Preparing designs of walls, floors and roofs
  • Providing specialist technical information to your colleagues in production, scheduling and site teams
  • Ensuring accurate and buildable designs in line with design and warranty requirements and structural engineering information provided
  • Resolving technical and architectural queries
