Job Opportunity: Full-Time Trainee Dental Nurse/Dental Nurse

Location: Peterborough (PE3)Salary: from £12.50 - £14.50 per hour (To Be Negotiated)

Responsibilities

  • Preparing the surgery Ensuring the surgery is ready for use, including setting up the treatment room and making sure all necessary supplies are available
  • Sterilizing instruments Decontaminating instruments using a multi-stage process that may involve scrubbing, soaking, and autoclaving
  • Assisting the dentist Providing support during procedures, such as passing instruments, removing saliva, and ensuring proper suction
  • Maintaining patient records Taking notes during consultations and treatments, and collecting and maintaining dental and medical histories
  • Educating patients Providing oral health education and answering questions
  • Maintaining a sterile environment Ensuring the surgery is kept clean and tidy, and that health and safety policies are followed
  • Managing supplies Ordering dental supplies and managing stock
  • Managing PPE Ensuring that all patient-facing staff have the necessary supplies, such as masks, gloves, and gowns
