Salary: 45-50k + Overtime (Circa 70/75k)

SQ Partners is currently recruiting for a talented and experiencedElectrical Design Engineeron behalf of our client, a leading provider in the design and development of automation machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team on a permanent basis in thePeterborougharea.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control Panel Design: Develop detailed electrical designs for control panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Modifications & Upgrades: Perform modifications and updates to existing control panels, improving functionality and efficiency.
• Testing: Conduct thorough testing of control panels to ensure all systems are functioning optimally.
• Project Leadership: Lead and manage electrical design projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
• Software Tools: Utilize Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical to design and document control systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in electrical design, specifically in control panels and automation machinery.
• Strong proficiency withEplanorAutoCAD Electrical.
• Experience in project leadership and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• A solid understanding of electrical testing, troubleshooting, and modifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
