We are a well-established M&E Contractor with a diverse portfolio of projects across construction, healthcare, education, historic, and commercial sectors. Our projects predominantly range from £50k to £2m, and we are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to lead exciting new ventures from our Peterborough office.

Your Role:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects efficiently and profitably while ensuring compliance with high standards. Your role will cover all areas of project management, from initiation to completion, including cost management, client liaison, and team leadership.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from handover to final delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout
  • Manage cost-effective procurement of materials, subcontractors, and equipment
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement risk management strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Take full budgetary responsibility for projects, controlling profitability and forecasting
  • Prepare and issue Risk Assessments/Method Statements
  • Oversee the engineering team, managing their performance and ensuring timely project delivery
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Quality standards
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate labour requirements
  • Proactively seek sales opportunities to drive business growth
  • Provide quotations to clients when necessary
