Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced EV Charger Installation Technician to join our team on a Subcontract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing electric vehicle (EV) chargers at residential properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with our partners, Octopus Energy, Shell, and Ohme, to support their growing demand for EV infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install EV chargers at domestic properties according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Perform site assessments to determine the best installation locations and ensure electrical compatibility.
- Carry out electrical wiring and testing to ensure safe and efficient operation of EV chargers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the installation process.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication with clients and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including photographs, diagrams, and installation reports.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. (MUST)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installations.
- experience in EV charger installations (preferred)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2391.(MUST)
- Gold card (desired)
