Controls and Instrumentation Engineer

The ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Controls/Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer with experience of working with Siemens S7 PLCs to join a successful & expanding organisation. Due to continued planned growth they now require an additional controls engineer. The main purpose of this position will be to programme Siemens 7 PLCs.
The scope of this role will also include;
* Designing & programming PLC software
* Review project file and confirm Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls scope
* Development of the P&ID's
* Preparation of Instrument Data, Electrical drives (VSD) and MCC data sheets
* Review of the vendor quote
* Production of wiring schematics and connection diagrams
* Preparation of BOMs
* Prepare the PLC /DCS I/O lists
The PERSON
The right candidate will be an intelligent and dynamic individual who wants to develop their career further within this progressive organisation;

* Experience of programming Siemens 7 PLCs
* Well educated in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation /Electrical/ Electronic Engineering)
* Experienced in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering
* Controls knowledge
* Competent in LV electrical circuit design and panel design
* Conversant with P&IDs.
* AutoCAD
