Team Jobs have a great opportunity to work as a Test & Validation Engineer in Peterborough to start ASAP.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

As a Test and Validation Engineer your responsibility will be to communicating with Manager and creating regular reports. Be responsible for conducting tests on validation test beds to sign off components and working on range of engines.

Salary: 20.20- 21.90 depending on experience

Working hours: 37h per week

Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:45pm

Friday 8:30am-4:15pm

Flexible/remote working available if candidate is following business needs, attending Tuesday is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

You will team up with engineers who may have more specialised skills or responsibilities to create strong methods to meet Product and Technical Objectives for IPSD-M products. You will also work with the GED Test operations team to ensure the standard of data quality are met.

Other day to day responsibilities:

  • Creating detailed test planning, execution of testing activities, analysis of results, and documentation with clear recommendations for the relevant process partners.
  • Carring out complex engine validation tests
  • Evaluating products and processes; perform needs analysis and initiate ideas
  • Keeping up to date on new technologies or develop new technologies
  • Communicating using technical information to a range of stakeholders
  • Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, dealers, customers, and suppliers; develop and maintain keen understanding of internal and external customers need.

Essential Skills:

-Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Engineering area.

-Project Management and time keeping

-Excellent interpersonal and problem solving

-Self-motivation and working with minimum supervision

-Self-confidence and commitment to succeed in business environment

-Microsoft office skills

-Understanding of diesel engine components and engine systems
