4D Planner - Water Sector

Randstad is working with a key player in the UK water sector to recruit a 4D Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a digitally driven professional to play a vital role in integrating 4D planning into major water infrastructure projects, bridging the gap between engineering and delivery teams.
The Role
This position will support project delivery teams by developing 4D models and facilitating digital rehearsals. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing digital tools to drive efficiency, collaboration, and innovation across projects.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Creating 4D models using Synchro to support digital rehearsals and project planning.
- Linking project schedules with 3D models to provide visual representations of planned works.
- Identifying sequencing clashes, potential risks, and health & safety considerations.
- Supporting weekly lookahead meetings, team briefings, and client presentations.
- Acting as a digital rehearsal facilitator, supporting virtual and in-person sessions.
- Working closely with project planners to ensure accuracy and integration of digital tools.
- Driving adoption of digital delivery processes within the business and project teams.
What We're Looking For
A digitally passionate professional with experience in 4D planning, construction logistics, and project scheduling. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proficiency in 4D planning software (Synchro) and experience in project scheduling.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and logistics.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills to support digital rehearsals.
- Ability to work closely with project teams to embed digital tools effectively.
- A proactive mindset, focused on driving efficiencies and continuous improvement.
