Are you an experienced environmental professional with a background in food manufacturing looking to take the next step in your career?
Irwin and Colton are delighted to announce that we have been engaged to recruit an Environment Manager for a leading global food manufacturer. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring environmental compliance across multiple sites across the globe, supporting environmental reporting, and working closely with senior leadership.
Key responsibilities of the Environment Manager:
- Lead on environmental compliance, ensuring full adherence to ISO 14001 regulations on UK sites.
- Lead on environmental reporting and working collaboratively with public bodies to report findings.
- Develop and implement environmental policies, standards, and action plans to drive sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to support best practices.
A Successful Environmental Manager will have:
- Experience in environmental management within the food manufacturing or agriculture sector.
- Strong understanding of environmental permitting, compliance reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
- A degree (BSc or MSc) in an environmental discipline with a membership to IEMA a desirable
