About the Role:

This key role within the Supply Chain team is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted flow of materials to support production. This directly contributes to the organisation's ability to fulfill customer orders with on-time and complete deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly monitor inventory levelsand create purchase orders with a diverse supplier base.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
  • Coordinate stock transfers from the secondary warehouse to the primary location, optimising warehouse space.
  • Collaborate closely with Production Planners to proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Communicate daily with the Warehouse team regarding incoming deliveries from suppliers and the secondary warehouse to facilitate efficient resource allocation.
  • Track purchase orders to ensure timely and complete deliveries, investigating and resolving any delays.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of slow-moving or at-risk inventory to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate regularly with the Procurement team regarding potential supply vulnerabilities related to contract balances or supplier performance.
  • Maintain and update critical product data, including lead times, minimum order quantities, and safety stock levels.
  • Develop forward-looking inventory projections for raw materials and packaging to inform future storage needs.
  • Provide data to support periodic supplier performance evaluations.
