Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Production Assistants to join our clients team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced print environment, supporting various stages of the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, previous experience in a print production or a warehouse/production environment would be beneficial, you will need to be physically fit to manage the manual handling aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the printing and production process, ensuring that quality standards are met.
  • Operate and maintain printing machinery and equipment under supervision.
  • Monitor and inspect printed materials for errors or defects, ensuring all items meet specifications.
  • Support with manual handling tasks as needed, including lifting and moving materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with the packing, labelling, and preparation of printed materials for shipment or delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth work flow.
  • Support additional tasks as required, based on business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Previous warehouse/production experience.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks as part of the role.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods, once the role becomes permanent (up to 48 hours per week).
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to task
