Job Title: Mortgage Broker
Location: Peterborough (Remote - with some in-person requirements)
Job Type: Full-time / Self-Employed / Remote
Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 OTE
Berry Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Mortgage Broker to join a well established team on a self-employed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to evaluate their financial needs and recommend appropriate mortgage products.
Guide clients through the application process, assisting with paperwork and documentation.
Submit applications to lenders and monitor progress through to completion.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage rates, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Negotiate terms between clients and lenders to achieve favourable outcomes.
Provide excellent post-application support, responding to client inquiries and offering ongoing assistance.
Build and nurture relationships with real estate professionals and lending partners.
Requirements:
Minimum of CeMAP 1 qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience in mortgage brokering or a related financial services role (preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
Self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work independently in a remote setting.
