We’re looking for a Client Manager to join a dynamic and supportive Business Services team in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA-qualified professional with strong portfolio management experience to take on a leadership role in a firm that champions collaboration, smart working, and professional development.
As a Client Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, typically with turnovers up to £2m. You’ll lead your team in delivering high-quality year-end accounts, tax computations, and management reports, while also providing proactive, relationship-led support to help your clients thrive.

Role Responsibilities- Managing a large and varied portfolio of business clients
- Delegating work, managing team workflows, and reviewing files for partner sign-off
- Building and developing client relationships with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, with input into training and development
- Supporting partners with planning, billing, and workforce management
- Identifying opportunities for new business and contributing to wider firm initiatives

Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experience managing a portfolio of SME/owner-managed business clients
- Proven ability to delegate effectively and review work to a high standard
- Commercially minded with a knack for spotting opportunities to add value
- Strong client communication skills and the confidence to advise decision-makers
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
