With a focus on scalability and operational excellence, we are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Head of Finance to join our senior leadership team and drive financial performance, enhance business decision-making, and support our continued growth.

Description

  • Lead the finance function, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the board and investors, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the business.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working with operational teams to align financial targets with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the company's financial controls and ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Identify and implement cost control and efficiency initiatives across the business.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure effective collaboration and high-performance standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive performance improvement across the business.

Profile

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a private equity-backed, fast-paced, or manufacturing environment (food manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience of developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on approach with a strategic mindset; ability to balance operational detail with long-term planning.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of supporting business growth and profitability.
  • Knowledge of financial software systems and ERP solutions.
  • Experience working with private equity investors and managing reporting requirements for stakeholders is desirable.
