This Shipping Coordinator position in the FMCG industry seeks an individual who is highly organised with exceptional problem-solving skills. The role, based in Peterborough, 2-3 days work from the office, involves coordinating and managing the exportation of goods, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
Description
The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for the following
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of export processes
- Ensure all export activities comply with regulatory standards
- Handle and resolve any issues that arise with shipments and deliveries
- Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners
- Maintain documentation and records related to export activities
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Monitor and report on export performance metrics
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department
Profile
A successful Shipping Coordinator should have:
- at least 1 year experience in either Import/ Export / Shipping Admin or Coordinator role
- Knowledge of import or export regulations and procedures
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Adeptness in working with logistics software
- A customer-centric approach to work
