Our client, a well-established and successful FMCG business are looking to appoint a new team member into their Procurement function. Supporting their busy NPD team, ensuring that all materials are supplied on time and within budget.
The ideal person will bring proven experience of buying FMCG and ideally Beauty/Personal Care or similar products. Sustainability is high on the agenda as is sourcing packaging, componentry, raw materials and finished goods within this highly competitive and cost-conscious industry. You will work closely with existing suppliers on supply, ensuring that stockholding and costing are accurate. This is a fast-moving environment so the ability to work under pressure is important.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Being proficient in MS Office with a full drivers licence are both essential attributes. Ideally you will be educated to degree level/equivalent but not essential.
Working on site 4 days per week.
