We are seeking a detail-oriented Data and Exams Manager for a secondary school in Peterborough. This role is pivotal in managing student data and overseeing examination administration within the Anthem Schools Trust.



Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

  • Collect, maintain, and analyze student performance data to support academic progress.
  • Manage records in the school's Management Information System (MIS), including Bromcom.
  • Produce reports on student attainment and progress for parents and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Trust Data Manager to generate regular reports for senior leadership and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and provide staff training on data systems.
  • Support data analysis to contribute to raising attainment strategies and effective administration of school tests.

Examinations Administration:

  • Coordinate internal and external examinations, ensuring compliance with JCQ and exam board regulations.
  • Manage examination timetables, invigilation arrangements, and secure storage of exam papers.
  • Oversee the processing and submission of coursework and special consideration requests.
  • Work with the SENCO to apply and administer exam access arrangements.
  • Handle examination results, certificates, and related queries from students, parents, and staff.
  • Stay updated on courses affecting Progress 8 and Attainment 8 at KS4 and the UCAS process.


Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification.

Desirable:

  • Relevant Data Management Qualification.
