Salary: Up to £45k + Package

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Our client is a leading contractor seeking a forward-thinking and dynamic Housing Surveyor to join their team. The role involves surveying and measuring kitchens, bathrooms, voids, and other areas within housing projects. You will provide comprehensive survey details and associated cost estimations to enable their delivery teams to execute projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate surveys and measurements of kitchens, bathrooms, voids, and other project areas within housing properties.
  • Produce detailed survey reports, including measurements and cost estimations, to support project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure they have all necessary information for successful project completion.
  • Stay informed on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to housing.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in surveying within the construction, housing, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce thorough and accurate survey reports.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide essential support to the delivery teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with survey-related software is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel between office locations as needed.
  • Prior experience in housing, property maintenance, or construction is advantageous, though we welcome candidates with transferable skills who are looking to move into this area of work.
