We are recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Peterborough. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, offering the chance to work in a supportive school environment with a strong Humanities department and SLT team.
What are you responsible for as a Humanities Teacher?
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography and History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Monitor and support the academic progress of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Humanities department to develop curriculum plans.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching both Geography and History in a secondary school.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for education and student success.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience as a Humanities Teacher.
