Brook Street have the pleasure of working with a family run business who are going through a period of growth and therefore require a Sales Administrator to join their team!

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, hard-working individual who enjoys working as part of a team and engaging with customers, not only that but also enjoys variety within a role and embraces new challenges!

You would be responsible for answering the telephone, processing orders, responding to customer queries, completing customs paperwork, generating new business quotations, and building a new business pipeline for export sales for you to contact and convert!

Hours: Office based, Monday to Thursday 8:45am - 16:45, with early finish Fridays 4pm

Salary up to 30,000

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to manage the day-to-day queries and sales for non-UK business, assist with UK sales when needed:
  • Enquiry handling and responding to customer queries
  • Keeping customers up to date with orders when stock is arriving, and shipments are going out
  • Liaising with the warehouse on labelling and dispatch arrangements
  • Creating quotations and following up
  • Sales order processing
  • Checking stock availability and liaising with procurement to buy in stock as required
  • Dealing with import and export customs and shipping documentation
  • Increasing business by up-selling existing clients and finding and developing new clients
  • Work with marketing to target new customers
  • Research market opportunities for our sectors overseas and use linked In to target new customers
  • Develop, document, and constantly improve export processes and procedures and embed these across the business
