Job Title: Sales Order ProcessorLocation: Peterborough, UKSalary: Depending on ExperienceHours: Monday-Friday, 09.00-17.30, Office BasedOverview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders, providing comprehensive support to the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and plan customer orders, arranging delivery through to aftercare, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Provide daily support to the Field Sales Team, including generating and processing customer quotations and related documents.
  • Coordinate site visits ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
  • Handle customer complaints post-dispatch, resolving issues promptly and within company guidelines.
  • Engage with customers and liaise with internal departments to maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Manage customer shipping inquiries, ensuring accurate and clear communication regarding order fulfilment.
  • Support the sales team with various tasks, such as arranging customer appointments and providing pre-sales support.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and ensure data is correctly entered into the company’s system.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales administration role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and familiar with computerised order processing systems.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Experience in customer service within an office environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated, with a methodical approach to work and a keen eye for detail.
