Senior Retoucher - Peterborough - Retail Brand - Up to £32k + Benefits

Are you ready to bring your expertise in retouching to an amazing new brand?

We're searching for a Senior Retoucher to join one of our top clients, someone who can make every pixel shine. In this key role, you'll transform raw images into flawless, campaign-ready visuals that perfectly capture the brand's essence.

What You'll Do:As a hands-on Senior Retoucher, you'll work closely with the Post-Production Lead to manage tasks and ensure smooth delivery of all content. Embedded within the creative team, you'll collaborate with studio leads, photographers, and stylists, building strong relationships to keep projects on track and workflows efficient. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the highest quality for all product and campaign imagery, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.

You'll lead by example, applying advanced post-production techniques across projects, from ecommerce shots to high-end campaigns. You'll also mentor junior team members, helping them develop their skills and stay current with industry trends. With a sharp eye for detail and a command of colour grading, you'll ensure every image is polished, true to life, and fully in line with the brand's vision.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead retouching on creative projects, ensuring consistent, high-quality results across all business needs.
  • Collaborate with photographers and creatives on edit specs, maintaining high standards in colour and consistency.
  • Handle complex tasks like skin treatment and advanced product adjustments.
  • Assist the post-production lead in meeting departmental goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain the digital asset library, ensuring correct naming and organisation.
  • Promote continuous improvement, suggesting workflow enhancements and ensuring style guide compliance.
  • Mentor junior team members, identifying skill gaps and developing training materials

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree/ Ideally some qualifications in Photography or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in retouching techniques, including high-end skin and product treatment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Capture One Pro, and knowledgeable in CGI.
  • Studio or business experience with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic workload.
  • Experienced in team mentoring and development.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging trends in retouching, fashion, and creative industries.
  • Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
