Workshop Fitter

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to help support our client based in Peterborough. The successful candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing or assembly environment and be able to read and understand technical drawings.

Job Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for the day-to-day assembly of machinery
  • Manage own workload efficiently and timely
  • Adhere to workplace processes and systems related to own area of work
  • Report build or quality issues to Design department and line manager
  • To be able to work as a team or as an individual to reach set goals 

Person Specification 

  • Experience within a workshop environment
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly roles
  • Able to read technical drawings
  • Suitable candidates will display a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to get the job done.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workshop and adhere to safe working practices

Hours of Work and Pay

  • Up to £26k/annum
  • 37hrs/week (Days)
