We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a highly organised and proactive Property and Planning Administrator. This key role will support the Property team and management in delivering administrative assistance for planning projects, ensuring efficient coordination of consultants, clients, and suppliers. You will play a crucial part in helping secure planning permissions and manage project timelines, all while maintaining excellent communication across multiple stakeholders.
Salary: 拢27,000 per annum (pro-rata for a 6-month contract, with potential for extension)
Contract Type: 6-month contract (full-time, 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00)
Key Responsibilities:
路Support the Property team in providing administrative assistance to secure planning permissions.
路Coordinate with consultants, clients, and suppliers to gather and update information relevant to planning projects.
路Provide direct support to senior team members, including the Managing Director, Construction Director, and Commercial Manager.
路Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes and placing orders with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
路Ensure efficient filing, both electronic and hard copy, and maintain organised records for planning projects.
路Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items and task lists.
路Answer calls and manage messages confidently, providing a high level of service to clients and stakeholders.
路Provide general administrative support to the Property team and assist with other office tasks as required.
Essential Skills & Experience:
路Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (for document creation, spreadsheets, and timelines).
路Strong administrative skills with experience in handling multiple tasks and priorities.
路Ability to attend meetings, take minutes, and manage follow-up actions.
路Good understanding of the planning permission process, with the ability to navigate relevant portals and websites.
路Ability to coordinate and manage procurement processes for consultants and suppliers.
路A confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with different stakeholders.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
路A general understanding of planning permission processes and related technical reports (e.g., drainage, landscaping, ecology, etc.).
路Understanding of technical reports related to planning (e.g., drainage, trees, contamination, highways, etc.).
路Ability to read and interpret architect plans and identify constraints or concerns within planning permissions.
路Experience in negotiating and comparing consultant fee proposals, presenting findings to management.
