Materials Scientist (Metallurgy)

Excellent opportunity for a Materials Scientist with metallurgy experience looking to work on a range of exciting projects while working with a global market leading business.

Do you have experience working with a range of metallic and non-metallic materials? Are you looking for the chance to help provide innovative solutions on cutting edge projects?

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be working as part of a specialist team where you will be working on a range of varied and innovative projects. You will be working to collaborate with a range of teams where you will be analysing data to compare the value of different materials to use in manufacture. You will also be investigating the adaptation of new materials for use with state of the art manufacturing processes including the use of automation equipment. This role will be working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday working inside of IR35 regulations.

The Role:

  • Working on a range of projects with UK and internationally based teams
  • Using analytical methods to identify the best materials used in manufacture
  • 12 month initial contract working a 37 hour week Inside of IR35 regulations

The Person:

  • Materials Scientist with metallurgy experience
  • Experience working in a materials lab within a manufacturing environment
  • Looking for a long term 12 month contract with a market leading company
