About the OpportunityDue to ongoing growth, we are now seeking an additional HR Director to join our team.

Based at our beautiful offices on the outskirts of Peterborough, in a dynamic environment, you will deliver strategic HR leadership and manage a small team of HR professionals, all while providing expert HR guidance to a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with clients, addressing complex employee relations (ER) cases, and offering strategic oversight on HR issues. Our approach is also to leverage your areas of HR expertise to support the team, sharing your ‘subject matter knowledge' across the business.

Key Responsibilities

As a HR Director, you will:

  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on complex employment issues, HR policies, and HR best practices.
  • Support managers on intricate ER cases, including disciplinary matters, absence management, performance, grievances, and appeals, attending meetings virtually or on-site as needed.
  • Deliver HR expertise on matters involving redundancy, restructures, and TUPE transactions.
  • Research, develop, and implement HR solutions to meet specific client needs.
  • Lead and coach a small team of HR professionals, fostering their development.
