Business Developer - Process Applications - Electro Separation

  • Hybrid position
  • You can be based in UK or European regions
  • Salary will be based on candidate's location
  • Ideally you will work from the office 1 to 2 days per week and this remains flexible depending on your level of experience

We have a new opportunity to join the team as a Business Developer - Process Applications, Electro Separation.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in expanding client portfolio, growing pipeline, and increasing market presence.
The Business Developer - Process Applications, Electro Separation will be the champion of the company's growth in cutting-edge electro separation technology in a role that brings the opportunity to shape the future while advancing your career in a world-leading, global organisation.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Expanding client portfolio and driving pipeline growth within the sector
  • Increasing market presence
  • Developing and maturing qualified opportunities, bringing them to fruition
  • Partnering with existing customers to generate new opportunities, working with them as a trusted advisor, and strengthening relationships
  • Bringing demo and full-scale opportunities to budget quote stage and firm proposal stage
  • Implementing product lines and processes, leveraging existing equipment for larger flowsheets
  • Collaborating on proposal generation
  • Owning the pipeline of opportunities
  • Documenting and administering project timing, the key milestones, and any roadblocks (we use shared files and a CRM)
  • Sharing information across the team, giving and receiving support wherever necessary

Naturally, within this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about their product lines and processes and implement these into your daily work.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in electro separation technology.
  • Probably already in the Hydrometallurgy, batteries, hydrogen, water, wastewater industry
  • Solid experience in business development or sales
  • Time served within the industry, or a Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field
  • Strong understanding of process applications
  • A natural communicator who enjoys working with customers to find a solution
