Ecommerce / Web Project Manager
Contract role on a 3 monthly rolling basis

Peterborough office perhaps 1 day each week, work from home rest of the time.
This is a contract project management role that sits in the PMO of a telecoms / ISP business.
You'll be joining a digital transformation project across a number of areas but a key focus will be the management of 3rd party software suppliers as the company go through an IT stack review and streamlining exercise with Salesforce being at the centre of things.
You'd be aligned with a number of technology projects running simultaneously but the main focus is around the improvement and deployment of Ecommerce platforms.
Role will call for a lot of stakeholder management and supplier management with the general theme of web development and collaboration with OSS/BSS Solutions Architects..
It's web software focused so ideally, we are looking for a project manager with end to end SDLC experience and ideally, a technical web development background which would give a good insight into web components & internet architecture and also have the effect of keeping the software partners honest as you would likely be an SME regarding Ecommerce bias web development in the business.
Mulesoft experience would be an advantage alongside web / ecommerce platforms integrating with Salesforce.
At the beginning, during the learning and requirement gathering part of the process then you might be in Peterborough for a few days but this will then reduce to occasional visits and you would be controlling when that happens as project sponsor, so you'll be arranging and organising the meetings in the office as and when needed.
