Automation Engineer - Peterborough
I am currently recruiting for an Automation Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in Peterborough.
This company specialises in delivering tailored automation and control solutions, particularly within the FMCG sector. They design systems to meet customer-specific standards, leveraging a wide range of technologies to optimise production processes. Their expertise includes PLC/SCADA solutions, integrated safety systems, and networked intelligent applications.
To support the continued growth of the business and to deal with the amount of work they have now and forecasted, they have the need to appoint an Automation Engineer on a permanent basis.
As an Automation Engineer, you will have the exciting opportunity to oversee projects from inception through to completion, covering the full range of Control System Software design, including PLC Software, SCADA, and HMI interfaces. Additionally, you will support thorough testing and ensure seamless commissioning of these systems, facilitating their smooth integration into operational environments.
Essential Requirements:
- 2 Years Experience as an Automation Engineer or Similar
- Experience Developing PLC Software Design - Siemens or Rockwell ideally
Desirable Requirements:
- Electrical Design Appreciation
