A newly appointed Senior Leadership Team is bringing fresh ideas and implementing best practices, enabling the company to win contracts with major household names.This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your technical and commercial skills, and become an integral part of a thriving organisation.What You’ll Be Doing:As a Proposals Engineer, you’ll work closely with the Sales and Engineering teams to:
- Prepare detailed technical proposals for FMCG/food manufacturing projects, including design, manufacture, installation, and management.
- Engage with clients to discuss project specifications and requirements.
- Build strong, customer-focused relationships.
- Produce comprehensive, professional proposal documents in Word, including images and tables.
- Create detailed cost estimates in Excel.
- Follow up on proposals with customers, recording and reporting their feedback.
- Degree in Engineering – ideally Mechanical, Process, or related fields.
- Some exposure to Technical Sales or Process Engineering is advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong IT skills, especially with Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Excellent numerical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A driven individual who can build rapport, network effectively, and thrive in a team environment.
