Our global manufacturing client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Systems Engineer to join our team at Peterborough campus.In this pivotal role, you will be a key contributor to the development of world-class products in a collaborative environment.
As part of the Performance Systems Integration (PSI) team, you will help define and develop control systems, ensuring product quality, performance, and emissions compliance.
Location: Peterborough, UKHours: 40 hours per weekRole type: Contract (12 months)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in systems, components, performance, and electronics to drive engine and powertrain development.
- Apply your expertise to define performance system requirements, system architecture, calibration, and control system definitions.
- Utilize simulation tools (such as GT Power, Ricardo Wave) and Matlab/Simulink to develop and optimise control systems.
