Import and Export Coordinator - Monday to Friday role - hybrid work set up

This Export Specialist position in the FMCG industry seeks an individual who is highly organised with exceptional problem-solving skills. The role, based in Peterborough, 2-3 days work from the office, involves coordinating and managing the exportation of goods, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.

Description

The Import and Export Coordinator will be responsible for the following

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of export processes
  • Ensure all export activities comply with regulatory standards
  • Handle and resolve any issues that arise with shipments and deliveries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners
  • Maintain documentation and records related to export activities
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on export performance metrics
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department

Profile

A successful Import and Export Coordinator should have:

  • at least 1 year experience in either Import/ Export / Shipping Admin or Coordinator role
  • Knowledge of import or export regulations and procedures
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Adeptness in working with logistics software
  • A customer-centric approach to work
