Reporting into one of two Operations Admin Team Leaders, it is the responsibility of the Pensions & Investment Associates to complete a multitude of varied processes for our clients whilst ensuring adherence to all Service Level Agreements and maintaining excellent attention to detail and customer service.
Main Activities:
路 Processing and checking all aspects of product and investment administration
路 Liaising with clients via email regarding their investor's accounts
路 Ensuring that all tasks are completed within SLA
路 Completion of all regular daily, weekly, and monthly tasks following a team checklist
路 Help to manage a very busy mailbox with queries from clients, Independent Financial Advisers, and Product Providers
路 Organisation of the daily post received and distributing of workload within the team
路 Ensuring that all team members receive regular and relevant feedback following the checking of their work
路 Assisting in the cross training of all team members
路 Documenting new and reviewing existing procedures to ensure that they are always kept up to date and can be used as a training aid
路 Evaluating current processes and proposing efficiencies to the Team Leader
路 Providing assistance with internal projects and new client on boarding
路 Completing ad hoc administration support for the Team Leader & Operations Manager
Knowledge, Skills, and Personality:
- Previous experience and knowledge of retail financial products is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to liaise with employees across all levels
- Ability to work within an extremely challenging and busy environment
- Have a passion for providing excellent customer service to our clients and their investors
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads and have excellent attention to detail
- Be flexible and a strong team player to collectively achieve deadlines
- Have a positive and can do attitude
- Diplomatic and professional at all times
Education, qualifications, and special training:
- A qualification in pension administration is desirable
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
