- Aspire People is seeking an experienced Catering Assistant for a Primary School in the Peterborough area.
- Candidates should have prior experience in a catering role, preferably in a school setting, although this is not mandatory.
- The position is temporary but may become permanent for the right individual, with contracted hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm during term time.
- Duties include food preparation, sandwich making, team collaboration during events, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- An enhanced DBS check is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain one to be considered for the role, with a competitive salary offered.
Applicants must have experience in a Catering role, preferably within a school environment, although not essential. You must be willing to work on a temporary basis although the position has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
* Preparation of food and beverages.
* Preparation of sandwiches as requested.
* To work as part of a team, including assistance at buffets as required
* Cleaning duties including kitchen, dining areas, furniture and equipment when required.
* Always maintaining safe and hygienic working practices
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a part-time basis within an educational environment.
You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new DBS to be considered for the role.
The contracted hours of work for the role will be Monday-Friday 9am-3pm, term time only.
