Job Description: Multi-Skilled Engineer Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing Location: Peterborough Salary: £45,000 per annum, Permanent Shift Type: 4 Days on 4 off Our client is a global Food & Beverage Manufacturer based in Peterborough with multiple sites up and down the UK. They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with Food & Beverage Manufacturing experience to come and help assist their growing dynamic team in Peterborough. Multi-Skilled Engineer Job Responsibilities: ·Perform hands-on reactive and preventative maintenance across the factory to ensure equipment reliability and maximise uptime.·Adhere to retailer-standard engineering practices for food and operator safety.·Schedule and conduct high-standard machinery maintenance, including servicing, repairs, and inspections, with thorough documentation and hygienic handovers.·Manage and maintain plant systems such as boilers and air compressors.·Contribute to machinery design, upgrades, installation, and relocations.·Collaborate with production teams to enhance efficiency and reduce losses.·Conduct risk assessments before maintenance work to ensure safety.·Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean as you go approach.Required Multi-Skilled Engineer Attributes: ·Required - Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ONC, City and Guilds, or 17th/18th edition. ·1 year experience working in Food & Beverage Manufacturing. ·Comfortable working amongst a team.·Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong computer skills.Company & Personal Benefits: ·4 Day working week·Company pension pays 3%, salary sacrifice scheme·Wellness package·Onsite parking·Casual dress·Sick pay ·Employee referral scheme Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
