Position: Print All Rounder
Location: Peterborough
Hours: 6:20am - 3pm
Salary: 13.50 - 15 per hour.

My client is one of the largest independent, multi-site manufacturers of corrugated cardboard packaging in the UK. A family-run business, founded in 1982.
My client constantly aims to deliver quality cardboard packaging at competitive prices, and they regularly carry out deliveries across East Anglia, London, the Southeast, East Midlands, Home Counties and Scotland.
The products that they produce include Ecommerce Packaging, Drinks Packaging, Food Delivery Boxes, Retail Ready Packaging, Cardboard Boxes and Kilkstor Archive Boxes.
Purpose of the role:
Operator a Dong Fang Print Slotter and a Murmaxci Die Cutter.
Day to day duties of the role:
- Operate our Dong Fang and Murmaxci machines as required to construct high quality cartons, sleeves as well as a variety of other packaging types
- Organise systems to ensure all jobs are shift ready,
- Manage the quality of packaging.
- Assist in the planning of trials for new packaging projects
- Ensure daily schedules are met.
- Complete documentation for traceability and to maintain our excellent BRCGS grade.
- Daily maintenance and care of Cut and Crease machinery.
Skills & Requirements for a Print All Rounder:
- An excellent team-working ethic
- Diligent and attentive to detail.
- Supervisory experience a must.
- Carton packaging experience is essential.
- A pro-active, problem-solving approach.
- Experience operating printing machine is essential.
