Quest Employment are recruiting for an experiencedAdministratorrole on a temporary ongoing basis based in Alwalton nr Orton Southgate, Peterborough. To be considered for theAdministratorrole you must be flexible within reason, dependable, and available for an immediate start. Candidates must have a good to excellent level of English speaking, reading, and writing.

Our client is a leading supply chain solutions business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client who is a growing company with many opportunities in a purpose-built site based in Alwalton Hill, Peterborough.

Shifts available 09:00-17:00 or 10:00-18:00, work may include occasional weekend availability.

Day to day role:(A role best matched to your skill set would be identified. There may be an opportunity to move around different departments once you are trained.)

  • Understand and comply with all relevant Company rules, agreements, policies, procedures and with all relevant legislative requirements and codes of practice.
  • Maintain and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards and to appreciate the responsibility you have to adhere to the respective procedures.
  • Attend any development training as required in compliance with the Companys commitment to the Investors in People standard.
  • To ensure all orders are processed according to customer/order specifications
  • Updating SharePoint and inhouse systems. Check paperwork on return to office and file accordingly
  • Book all inbounds ensuring all documentation and information is available
  • Updating weekly stock statement to allow production of inbound controls.
  • Ensure Transport consignments are arranged as per customer requirements to allow the transport department to arrange haulage.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date KPI figures
  • Maintain returns records and process as per contractual agreements
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Produce files including labels

Expected working environment:

  • Standard warehouse office environment
  • Safety boots & Hi Vis Vest are required to be worn.
  • All other PPE required will be provided as required.

Ideal Requirements:

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent
  • 1 year of a Customer Service role
  • Understanding of warehouse and logistic operations
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • High organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage work load
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels
  • Invoicing and KPI reporting knowledge (desirable)
  • Knowledge of stock systems and warehouse operations (desirable)
