We are looking to recruit you to join us working in the Anglian Water (AW) large scale capital delivery programmes. You will be working with front line AW Operational Teams and the two AW Capital Alliances: Integrated Mains Works (IMW) and the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA). Within these Alliances you will be working with Solutions, Design and Delivery teams, as well as with other AW water business units with the aim to enable our water resources to move securely and freely across the Anglian region to achieve our Water Resource Management Plan. By delivering and integrating these strategic assets and complex systems into our current asset base you will be helping to provide a smart and resilient water supply for our customers.

This role will cover across multiple projects, alliances and portfolios and will require a holistic understanding of business needs and priorities to successfully support the efficient and effective delivery of these programmes.

Your role will involve:

  • Ensuring delivery of individual projects does not cause adverse customer, environmental or operational impacts through effective risk management and being accountable for the development of Impact Plans or other risk mitigation methods?
  • Managing stakeholders and fostering a collaborative working environment
  • Being an expert on operational business activities and the lead person engaging with operational management teams
  • Leading on managing the integration of the new assets into the existing Anglian Water asset base
  • Identifying and delivering key internal and external customer needs to ensure excellent customer service?
  • Being an engaged core member of the AW Alliance Delivery Teams supporting the teams through governance gateways as appropriate
  • Actively participating in Design Reviews, ROVs, HAZOPS, Project Rehearsals, Fit for Assembly and safe to operate meetings to influence project delivery and ensure AW requirements are represented?
  • Delivering off-site/on-site Safety, Quality and Environmental inspections??

What does it take to be Strategic Supply Integrations Lead?

  • Relevant qualification in a construction/engineering/science subject??
  • Experience of Potable Water Operational Activities and Systems
  • Experience of working in a site construction environment?
  • Understanding of an Alliance environment
  • Experienced in a delivery environment?
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
