We are seeking two Supply Chain Planners to join our client's team in Peterborough. This hybrid role offers a great opportunity to work with a global leader in manufacturing, balancing office and remote work. The role starts with 3 days per week in the office, transitioning to 2 days per week as the assignment progresses. This is an initial 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the creation of the master production schedule and material plan to meet independent customer demand.
  • Plan and maintain daily supply chain operations in areas like materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management, or order fulfillment.
  • Ensure both internal and external customer expectations are met by providing consistent planning signals across the supply chain.
  • Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
  • Identify potential supply chain failures and mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop short-term tactical improvements.
  • Participate in functional process improvement teams to enhance planning processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Excel for data management and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise information to different audiences.
  • Numerically capable with strong analytical skills to interpret complex information and solve problems.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Oracle or other Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain role, whether through internships, placements, or entry-level positions, is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain is not mandatory but is a strong plus.
