Fabric Maintenance Engineer required in Peterborough.
My client is a highly reputable Engineering & Facilities Management contractor who are now looking to add to their existing team looking after several schools in the Peterborough area. This role will be general maintenance duties, but is strongly preferred that you have a skilled background in Carpentry.
This will include the maintenance, repair and installations works for tasks such as internal and external doors and frames (including fire doors), timber partitioning/dry lining, 1st and 2nd fix carpentry and fire prevention works (doors collars, partitioning etc). Minor repairs and redecoration tasks.
For the right candidate, this may lead to a permanent role, with van and fuel cards provided.
Must have:
- NVQ or equivelent (preferably in carpentry & general maintenance.
- Own tools & transport
- Checkable references
Any of the below will be desirable:
- PASMA trained
- IPAF
- Previous experience in working in maintenance on commercial buildings
