Maintenance Engineer- Competitive Salary- Peterborough (mixed day and night shifts)

Pod Talent are excited to be partnering with one of the top global food manufacturers, who are looking to a maintenance engineer to join their massively expanding site in Peterborough!

In this role, you will be able to utilise your technical skills in a fast paced environment, leading and supporting project work and implementing process improvement practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Continually assessing and monitoring the plant equipment for efficiency, informing of any non compliance
  • Fault finding, responding to questions from operators
  • Study production schedule and estimate work hour requirements
  • Carry out audits for compliance to GMP, AIB, EFSIS standards

Requirements:

  • Experience maintaining a variety of machinery (electrical, automated, and mechanical) ideally within food manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER processes
  • Great working under time pressure
  • Ideal Engineering Degree or NVQ Level 3
