Location: PeterboroughSalary: £48,000 + BenefitsShifts: Weekly Rotating (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business in Peterborough on a permanent basis. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing process equipment to ensure smooth operations, reduce downtime, and enhance plant performance.
Job Responsibilities
- To ensure a high standard of maintenance to attain factory performance goals
- Electrical or Mechanical setup and production support
- Fault finding and repair of breakdowns
- To be fully aware of factory safety issues and work in a safe manner at all times
- Performance of preventive maintenance
- Fabrication and installation of plant machinery under supervision
Person Specification
What We’re Looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:
- Recognised apprenticeship (City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
- Experience of Production equipment, maintenance in a diverse factory environment
- Dual skilled (Electrical/Mechanical maintenance)
- Good diagnostic skills
- Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience
- Computer literate (stores systems and Maintenance Management Systems)
Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits
- £50,600 Per Annum plus annual bonus worth up to £2000
- Overtime paid at x1.5 or x2 depending on hours
- Weekly Rotating Shift Pattern
- 06:00 to 14:00
- 14:00 to 22:00
- 25 days holiday
