What Youll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of machinery
  • Reducing downtime by working closely with the production team
  • Investigating faults and making long-term fixes, not just quick patches
  • Recording repairs and identifying patterns to prevent future issues
  • Supporting improvements to plant productivity
  • Ensuring parts, tools, and materials are available when needed

What Were Looking For: Maintenance Engineer

  • Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally with an electrical bias
  • Confident with fault finding on 3-phase systems, motors, sensors, lighting, and small power
  • Familiar with PLCs (basic fault finding)
  • Mechanical experience including gearboxes, pneumatics, shafts, and strip-downs
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or time-served
  • Strong communicator, organised, and self-motivated
  • Must be able to commute to Peterborough and happy to move to Market Deeping when the site relocates
