Maintenance Engineer- Competitive Salary- Peterborough (mixed day and night shifts)
Pod Talent are excited to be partnering with one of the top global food manufacturers, who are looking to a maintenance engineer to join their massively expanding site in Peterborough!
In this role, you will be able to utilise your technical skills in a fast paced environment, leading and supporting project work and implementing process improvement practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Continually assessing and monitoring the plant equipment for efficiency, informing of any non compliance
- Fault finding, responding to questions from operators
- Study production schedule and estimate work hour requirements
- Carry out audits for compliance to GMP, AIB, EFSIS standards
Requirements:
- Experience maintaining a variety of machinery (electrical mainly, automated, and mechanical) ideally within food manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER processes
- Great working under time pressure
- Ideal Engineering Degree or NVQ Level 3
