We deliver innovative, award-winning services to the public and private sector sand our mission is to make people and places the best they can be.This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Venues market.About The Role:We have an exciting opportunity for an Air conditioning Mobile Building services engineer to join our team working on key contracts around the Peterborough area.As this role is client facing you will need to present a professional image and have good communication skills and a willingness to provide the best possible solutions to meet the clients' needs.You will be City & Guilds qualified (to relevant standard) ideally with experience working in a similar environment. As you will be working alone, you'll need to be able to think proactively arranging materials, providing information for quotations, and managing the clients' expectations.Early starts and late finishes may be required as part of this role to allow for disruptive works to be completed with minimal disruption to the client. You'll be required to be part of the on-call rota system operating on a 1-8 rota. Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 17:00 - 40 hours per week

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out installation and servicing of AC units in a range of environments as well as planning, inspecting, and carrying out repairs or preventative general maintenance as required and responding to breakdowns.
  • Carrying out statutory inspection of assets including Emergency Lighting, Water Temperature checks, Fire Door inspection and repairs, Plumbing repairs, Lighting checks and other minor reactive works.
  • Providing technical guidance to the client and contract support

About You:

  • Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
  • C&G qualified (2379)
  • To be IT literate using Microsoft Word, Excel etc
  • Must hold a full UK driving license as use of company vehicle may be required.
