Our client is seeking a skilled Development Engineer to join our Aftertreatment Engineering Team. This contract role focuses on developing IC engine components and aftertreatment solutions for Off-highway applications.

Role: Design and Development EngineerExperience: 3+ yearsLocation: Peterborough (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)Contract: 12 months Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate IC engine components and emissions modules.
  • Work with global teams, suppliers, and manufacturing sites.
  • Solve quality and manufacturing issues with innovative solutions.
  • Lead FMEA, risk identification, and validation planning.
  • Support field and production issue resolution.
Skills & Experience:
  • HNC/Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering preferred.
  • Experience in aftertreatment systems, emissions modules, and IC engines.
  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, 6 Sigma, and APQP tools.
  • Proficiency in Team Centre and Microsoft O365.
